ZOWIE, BenQ’s esports equipment brand, has launched the XL2566X+ gaming monitor, designed for FPS players and games.
The new monitor is the successor to ZOWIE’s XL2566K product, which has been used for major Counter-Strike events such as CS2’s first-ever major in Copenhagen and CS:GO’s BLAST.tv Paris Major.
The XL2566X+ monitor marks the debut of ZOWIE’s X+ series. According to a release, the new series will incorporate new Fast TN panel technology with a 400Hz refresh rate for faster response times. Moreover, the model features DyAc 2 technology, which looks to provide dynamic image clarity.
By combining its Fast TN and DyAc 2 technologies, ZOWIE highlighted that the new monitor has been tailored for FPS games. The new monitor looks to provide clearer and sharper images which reduces game interference caused by blurry images. The monitor is also designed for the preferred resolution for fans of CS2 (1280×960) and VALORANT (1920×1080).
ZOWIE’s new Fast TN panel technology is expected to provide faster conductivity than its previous general. Moreover, the XL2566X+ has been redesigned to enhance colour performance to provide greater image quality.
Founded in 2008, ZOWIE has become a household name in the esports peripherals space. Alongside its range of monitors, the brand also produces mice and mousepads. The company has also secured a range of esports partnerships, including VALORANT’s international leagues (Pacific, Americas and EMEA) and the ESL Pro League.
