Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol Returning this Summer

16-bit cult classics Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol will make their return this summer, courtesy of Dotemu and Lucasfilm Games.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors stars teenagers Zeke and Julie as they take on zombies, mummies, blobs, lizard men, and more. Evil Dolls that just won’t die. Lizard Men, Blobs, Vampires, Giant Ants, Martians and more. 55 levels ranging from grocery stores to shopping malls have been included, along with weaponry like uzi squirt guns, bazookas, and weed wackers.

Its sequel, Ghoul Patrol, has Zeke and Julie paying a visit to the Ghosts and Ghouls exhibit at the city library. After unleashing the evils of a spirit book, they must take on garbage can ghosts and ninja spirits as they go back in time.

New to these titles is a Modern Save System, Museum Features that include video interviews with the original developers, marketing assets, concept art, and game art, a soundtrack option, two player local co-op, and achievements.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol – Announcement Trailer – Nintendo Switch

The titles will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and GOG.com) on June 29, 2021. Limited Run Games will announce more details of physical editions that are slated to come to both modern and legacy platforms later this summer.
