Zombie Raft is a game about piloting a land-raft through a zombie-infested wasteland. Along the way you’ll collect materials and survivors and put them to use strengthening your strange vehicle to better protect it from the ravenous hordes. You’ve also got a home base where you can build new contraptions in order to save even more people.
It’s fair to say there’s quite a lot going on here, and you’re going to have to have your wits about you if you want to succeed. And that’s exactly why we decided to write this here guide. It’s packed full of all the strategies we’ve picked up during our time playing Zombie Raft, and hopefully they’re going to help you get the most out of the experience.
It doesn’t matter if you’re just setting out with a basic raft to try and find your first post-apocalyptic friend, or you’ve already unlocked some swanky new toys – there’s going to be something here to take your skills to the next level. After all, these are the best hints, tips and cheats for Zombie Raft.
Assign your workers
When you’ve rescued a survivor, make sure you assign them a task. They can collect wood, power your raft or use the arsenal, depending on what you’ve unlocked on your current run. Assign them by heading to one of the positions and then tapping the assign button. It’s going to take a lot of the weight off your shoulders.
Watch out for invaders
You need to keep an eye out for zombies climbing onto your raft. They’re going to do it regularly, and you’ll be alerted by an exclamation point or a cry for help. It’s especially important if you don’t have an armory with an assigned survivor who can also keep track of the invaders.
Keep collecting
Keep collecting new materials as often as you can. You can use these to build new structures on your raft, that you can then populate with survivors. Even if you’re coming to the end of a run, keep grabbing stuff. You can use it next time, or spend it at your base to get extra coins or equipment.
Upgrade when you can
When you’re back at the base, you can spend coins on getting new equipment to add onto your raft. This will help you move faster and pick up more stuff on your travels. They’re not cheap, but if you’ve got the coins to spare they’re well worth picking up. Try and save your coins as best you can.
Watch the videos
Sometimes on a run you’re going to be offered the opportunity to watch videos to get extra rewards. The chests aren’t really worth it, but when you’ve got the choice to pick up survivors and loot from a damaged raft, it’s worth taking the time out to do it. The more survivors you get out of the wasteland, the more you’re going to be able to upgrade your base.
