HoYoverse has unveiled the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 along with a few details of what’s in store. Called ‘Bury Your Tears with the Past,’ the update will roll out on April 23rd. It’s basically wrapping up everything from Season 1.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
The big mystery around the Sacrifice crisis will be finally revealed. Proxies are diving into Vivian’s complicated backstory, and Hugo’s fate is no longer just whispers and speculation.
After Hugo took that fall into the Hollow, the situation between Mockingbird and TOPS is getting worse. Now, there’s a special Void Hunter-rank investigator sent by the Mayor.
Alongside Vivian, Proxies will head straight into hostile territory to track down the Sacrifice Core. Vivian has some unfinished business with people from her past, and the Exaltists’ conspiracy is starting to come apart at the seams.

Here’s the Character Lineup
Two S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird are stepping in. As mentioned above, Vivian is one of them. An Ether Anomaly Agent, she flips around with a parasol and rapier, dishing out a ton of Corruption damage when paired with other characters’ EX Special Attacks.
Hugo, is the second new character, who is an Ice Attack Agent. He carries a suitcase that turns into a scythe. And when he hits stunned enemies, he triggers this Totalize effect that scales up damage based on how long the stun has left.
Then, there’s Robin too, who is Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner and throws around cards with random effects. Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent will both rerun in Version 1.7’s banners.
Lastly, Version 1.7 is bringing some new events to Zenless Zone Zero. Say It With Flowers, for instance, lets you run a flower shop, taking on design requests and making floral arrangements for customers. Finishing commissions lets you unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive goodies.
