Developer miHoYo has announced that Zenless Zone Zero will launch on December 18, 2024 and will feature PS5 Pro Ray-Tracing support.Known as A Storm of Falling Stars, the update will see the main story’s TV mode overhauled with more immersive combat and exploration, while the Season 6 Agents, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa are also on the horizon. Main story stages will be redesigned from the Prologue to Chapter 3 and added to the HDD system, while future updates will see the TV mode replaced with story-baed stages. Furthermore, all contacted Agents will be playable within the city, and Proxies can stroll through New Eridu with their Agents thanks to a new Quality Time Mode.Moreover, new combat gameplay modes are coming in Version 1.4, including Hollow Zero’s major update, Shadows Lost, and a new periodic operation, Deadly Assault. Proxies will face intense battles in the Lost Void with enhanced support and new equipment, such as Gear, Bangboo Assist skills, and Resonia. Additionally, the newly unlocked Reverb Arena will host a range of events to showcase its vibrant atmosphere, including a Bangboo-themed tower defense gameplay.Zenless Zone Zero Update 1.8 is out on December 18 for PS5.
