Zenless Zone Zero Confirmed To Be A Limited-Time PS5 Console Exclusive

Zenless Zone Zero is the latest release from the storied studio Hoyoverse, the team that began as miHoYo and skyrocketed to being one of the biggest studios worldwide with the success of Genshin Impact.It’s since repeated that success with Honkai Star Rail and looks to do it again with Zenless Zone Zero. However just because everything Hoyoverse does is a live service-style online multiplayer game, the kind you’d expect to see on all potential platforms, it’s actually a PlayStation 5 exclusive.At least that’s what the game’s latest trailer says. The very end of the new launch trailer calls it a PS5 console exclusive, with an asterisk saying that it’s a 6 month exclusivity before it’ll arrive on other platforms.It’ll be interesting to see which consoles it does end up on though, because Hoyoverse’s other big titles aren’t on other console platforms besides PlayStation. They all have PC and mobile versions, but no Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series versions.Perhaps Zenless Zone Zero will be the first of Hoyoverse’s game’s to make it to Switch, who knows.
