The latest addition to the Windows Insider program is the ability to use your Android phone or tablet as a webcam. Windows 11 users part of the Insider program can now use any Android 9.0 and up phone or tablet as a webcam during video conferencing sessions. To get things working you’ll also need the Link to Windows app installed on your mobile device with Microsoft specifying version 1.24012* or higher is required.

You’ll then need to make sure you are part of the Windows Insider program and head to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices and select “Manage devices” and allow your PC to access your Android phone. Once set up your Android phone or tablet will show a successfully connected prompt message.
Microsoft also shares users can switch between the front and back cameras and also add effects and access recent photos from your camera roll right on your PC. Microsoft shared that the new Insider features are rolling out
