The Xbox Series X|S could be getting a new Seagate expansion card that’s smaller in capacity and a fair whack cheaper than the only other option market, the $220/£220 1TB Seagate Expansion Card. According to a report from XboxSquad.fr (thanks, Windows Central), two listings for a 500GB expansion card from Seagate have appeared on a couple of French retailers’ websites, with one saying the card launches on November 14th, 2021 for a price of €154.99 (around $150/£130). Unfortunately, that’s all the information we have on the card. Windows Central reports that it hasn’t been able to verify the card’s existence, so it may be worth tempering expectations until either Microsoft or Seagate makes an official announcement, though a cheaper 500GB expansion card doesn’t seem too farfetched of an idea.
