If you’ve been missing the single-player action Rocksteady gave us with the Batman Arkham series, we could see similar action arrive on Xbox in the future. According to new reports, Xbox has partnered with the Rocksteady co-founders’ new studio, Hundred Star Games, to publish a new AAA single-player game.Hundred Star Games reportedly partner with Xbox for a new gameAs reported by eXputer, Rocksteady co-founders Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill have partnered with Microsoft to publish their new studio’s debut game. According to the report, the game is a AAA, single-player action-adventure game developed using Unreal Engine 5. While details about the game are still unknown, Xbox Game Studios is said to be financing the project, so we’ll almost definitely see it launch on Xbox consoles and PC, although exclusivity isn’t a guarantee.Little is known about Hundred Star Games, which looks to have been established earlier this year by Hill and Walker and has several ex-Rocksteady developers within its team. The official website doesn’t say much about the studio, but a listing on the Great Place to Work website gives us a short overview of the studio.”Hundred Star Games is a video game start-up based in East London. Our ethos is of creating a small team of only 100 industry veterans and emerging talents, who are committed to crafting cutting-edge gaming experiences that inspire and captivate players worldwide. With innovation at our core, we’re dedicated to pushing boundaries, embracing diversity, and fostering a vibrant gaming community. Our empowering company culture is unique to the industry which encourages leadership at all levels, accountability, team support, vulnerability, and connection.”While it’s unlikely we’ll learn anything about the project anytime soon, the Xbox Games Showcase should give us some juicy details about Xbox’s upcoming games next week, including Doom: The Dark Ages, according to reports.
