The Xbox Games Showcase later this week won’t include any full CG trailers for Microsoft’s first-party games, and will instead focus on in-game footage.Microsoft’s vice president of Xbox Games Marketing, Aaron Greenberg, has confirmed that all of the first-party games shown during this week’s Xbox Games Showcase will feature minimal cinematics, focusing on in-game and in-engine footage — there won’t be any movie trailers either! Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct to focus on in-game footageThe Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct shows will offer two hours of gaming goodness on Sunday, and while we’re yet to learn of the games that will feature — aside from Starfield, obviously — Microsoft has confirmed that it won’t be focused on games coming in the next 12 months like last year’s show. Although some of the games being showcased could still be years away from release, VP of Xbox games marketing Aaron Greenberg has confirmed on Twitter that the trailers will all feature in-game footage. “None of our first-party games in the show are full CG trailers,” Greenberg said. “Everything is either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. Each of our trailers will be labeled so it is hopefully clear for our fans.”A recent Twitter post from the Xbox account had fans speculating that Fable could make an appearance during the show.
