Xbox PC app surfaces over 400 hidden games in major update

The new home experience that Insiders have been testing on PC rolls out to all users today, and the Xbox PC app update has revealed over 400 games that were previously hidden. Alongside new highlights for featured content, events, sales, and more, over 400 games that “weren’t discoverable or purchasable” previously have also been added, greatly expanding the number of games in the store.Today’s update is one of the biggest overhauls Microsoft has given the Xbox PC app, and packs in a ton of improvements. Much of the focus is on the Home experience, which now highlights featured content such as new game releases, sales, events, fresh Xbox Game Pass content, and more. The “Jump back in” feature for Compact Mode gives you quick access to your recent games straight from the dashboard, and you’ll find new curated collections, discounts, and recommendations as well.As for the new games, Microsoft says, “We’re super excited to see what Xbox games come to Windows PC from game creators in the future and to welcome nearly 400 titles that previously weren’t discoverable or purchasable in the Xbox app.”Over 100 of the new games are Play Anywhere titles, which means you can get the Xbox console and PC versions in that one purchase, letting you share your saves across both platforms.
