You’ll still be able to follow people, allowing you to keep up with their shared content, but you can now also choose to send friend requests, which gives you “greater control and flexibility over who can see your player data.” Following the update, Xbox says: “Your current connections will be updated accordingly. You will remain friends with those players who have also added you as a friend, and you will continue following anyone who hasn’t.”Alongside the friend request feature, relationship and privacy notifications have also been updated and can be configured on console or the Xbox app on PC and mobile. As for other updates for Xbox consoles, new options to create gamerpics from achievements art and screenshots have been added.
