If you fired up your Xbox 360 or a backwards compatible game on your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One and haven’t been able to get online, you’re not alone. Over the past several days, we have seen reports from players suggesting there is an Xbox Live outage for Xbox 360 and backwards compatible games. Some players unable to get online on Xbox 360 and in back-compat gamesPosts from the xbox360community on RedditReports of the outage began springing up on social media and in various forums on TrueAchievements over the weekend, with multiple players saying they’ve been unable to connect to Xbox Live (or the Xbox Network as it’s called now) on their Xbox 360 consoles. While some players are not receiving any error messages, others are being presented with the 8015190E error code, which occurs when trying to connect to Xbox Live on a 360. However, it’s not just on the Xbox 360 where players are running into connection issues. Players are also reporting they’re unable to get online in backwards compatible 360 games on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. As it stands, Xbox Support is yet to acknowledge the problem, with the Xbox Status page claiming that all Xbox features and functionality are up and running without issue. We have seen this issue several times over the past year or so, and it doesn’t usually take long for Microsoft to get things back up and running. The last major outage like this occurred in January and was fixed by Microsoft in about six days, so hopefully, those affected don’t have too long to wait.
