Xbox Insiders have a new Xbox update that makes it easier to free up storage space on an Xbox console. Insiders in the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings can now test out the new feature, which will likely be rolling out to all users soon. Check it out by heading to My Games & Apps > Manage > Free up space.”While it’s a somewhat small improvement, it’s definitely a welcome one, especially if you’re like me and somehow manage to create duplicate copies of games and DLC packs across different storage drives (don’t ask).While this update is currently available only to Insiders, it won’t be long before it filters down to all Xbox users. You can probably expect it in one of the upcoming Xbox monthly updates. With this change, you should hopefully be able to keep on top of your storage space and free up some room for some of the best Xbox Game Pass games. What are your thoughts on this?
