There’s quite a bit of reshuffling in the top five of our latest Xbox gameplay chart. Call of Duty has jumped over Minecraft and Fortnite to take first place, no doubt as players jump on into the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 achievements after Modern Warfare 3 joined Game Pass last week. Roblox has just nipped back up into the top five, while GTA V has been pushed from fifth to sixth. There’s a fair bit of movement in the rest of the top ten as everything jumps up and down to make room — EA Sports College Football 25 has moved up another spot after its recent launch, with Rainbow Six Siege and Rocket League just behind, while Elden Ring is still hanging on in the top ten after sliding down a spot. The First Descendant has dropped again this week, sliding four spaces to 11th. Valorant, meanwhile, has made a massive jump from 30th to 15th after its open beta began, while Dead by Daylight is up from 22nd to 17th. Dead by Daylight recently added new Xbox achievements with its Tomb Raider DLC and was included with Free Play Days over the weekend, so more players might be taking the chance to jump in.Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, which launched into Game Pass earlier in the month, has fallen seven places to 22nd. No Man’s Sky has made a huge leap from 39th to 24th after its big Worlds Part 1 update arriving for Xbox. XDefiant has slipped again, falling nine places to 29th. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a recent Xbox Game Pass addition, has hopped up two places to 34th. Tom loved Capcom’s action strategy game in his Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess first impressions, and it’s also in the spotlight thanks to Microsoft’s custom Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Xbox Series X bundle. Lastly, Palworld has dropped five places to 39th, although an update fixing broken Palworld Xbox achievements might help turn that around, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 brings up the rear at 40th.Top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending July 28, 2024Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 2.4 million active Xbox accounts.
