August is currently pretty quiet when it comes to upcoming Game Pass games, but we now know at least the first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in August 2024. Airborne Kingdom, Offworld Trading Company (Windows), Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Windows) are all set to leave Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass in the next two weeks.Games leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass in August 2024As it stands, Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition has the shortest estimated completion time of the list, with around eight to ten hours needed for its 38 achievements, while Airborne Kingdom requires between 15 and 20 hours for the base game (although it looks as though multiple playthroughs and specific difficulties might be required). With The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, you’re looking at over 100 hours with at least one buggy achievement to watch out for. Don’t forget here, too, that there’s a separate stack with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Windows), which is also set to leave PC Game Pass at the same time. We don’t yet have enough data for an estimated completion time for Offworld Trading Company (Windows), as only three of the over 2,500 Offworld Trading Company gamers here on TrueAchievements have completed it (there were some issues with unobtainables in the past, which now look to have been resolved). However, each of those three all have over 30 hours in the game. We’re waiting for Microsoft’s usual Xbox Game Pass announcement for more news on what’s coming in August, since this month currently looks pretty empty. We do have Creatures of Ava (you can read more on that in our Creatures of Ava interview!), Core Keeper, and Sopa, all of which look excellent. Plus, Gamescom is looming on the horizon (Xbox will be there with over 50 titles), and things start to really pick up from September onwards. In the meantime, if you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, don’t forget to check your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for August 2024.
