Xbox Game Pass in January 2022: Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Outer Wilds, and More

Xbox Game Pass is getting another stellar lineup of games in January of 2022, including a big headliner, Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Bioware’s critically acclaimed space-opera will be available for console and PC users as part of EA Play, which is included alongside Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or PC Game Pass memberships.Other games hitting the subscription service this January include Outer Wilds, Spelunky 2, The Pedestrian, and more. While this won’t be everything coming to Game Pass in January, as Xbox tends to announce a second wave of games in the latter parts of every month, this is certainly a decent start to the year. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is Coming to Xbox Game PassMass Effect Legendary Edition is headlining the new Xbox Game Pass entries for January 2022, with the complete saga hitting the service on January 6 for console and PC Game Pass users. The Legendary Edition includes all includes the single-player content from each of the three games, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, alongside over 40 DLC expansions from each as well. There’s also new promo weapons and armors, with the game also featuring remastered and optimized visuals in 4K. Mass Effect, in particular, has received a lot of work, with the combat system being revitalised, alongside some improvements to the UI and third-person camera.
