If you’re familiar with the Sniper Elite franchise, you’ll know what to expect from Resistance: more sniping with that glorious X-ray kill cam and some excellent stealth third-person combat. How you go about completing each mission in Resistance is up to you — do you take out everyone from as far away as possible or go in all guns blazing? Whatever you choose, you will have multiple infiltration and extraction points at your disposal and an arsenal of authentic World War II weaponry to bring down not only your main target but also optional targets. The multiplayer Invasion mode is also making a comeback with Resistance, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for other players. Interestingly, Resistance introduces a new side mission to the series called Propaganda Missions, where you are tasked with locating a unique propaganda poster in each of the main campaign’s levels to unlock a Propaganda Mission in which you take on the role of a resistance fighter.
