The first wave of new Xbox Game Pass games coming in September 2024 has now been revealed. Riders Republic, Age of Mythology: Retold, Train Sim World 5, and Expeditions: A MudRunner game are all coming to Game Pass in the first half of September — the list of upcoming Game Pass games continues to grow!New Xbox Game Pass games for September 2024Available todayStar Trucker (Cloud, Console, and PC) September 4September 5September 11September 17Sadly, everything in September’s first wave of new Game Pass additions was previously announced for the service, so there aren’t really any surprises here. Kicking things off, we have Star Trucker, which is a new day-one title out today for both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.On September 4, Age of Mythology: Retold gets its full release and joins Game Pass. The real-time strategy is currently out now for those who have paid for the Premium Edition, and according to those who have already managed the completion, unlocking all 50 achievements will take around 35 hours. The following day, Expeditions: A MudRunner game joins Game Pass on September 5. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough completion data to give you an estimate for the 1,000G, but out of the 3,500 TA members who have started Expeditions, just 66 have managed the completion, which suggests it could be a challenge. Ubisoft’s open-world extreme sports game Riders Republic then comes to Game Pass on September 11. For those interested, unlocking all 34 achievements here will take between 60 and 80 hours — most of that time will be spent completing 50 Mass Races with other players and finding 200 landmarks, relics, or collectibles. Finally, on September 17, Train Sim World 5 pulls into the Game Pass station on day one, offering new challenges, routes, and roles for you to master. Microsoft has also confirmed that Xbox Game Pass loses six games in September 2024, including Slime Rancher 2, FIFA 23, and Payday 3.
