As unveiled in October’s second wave of new games coming to Game Pass, today is a good day to be a subscriber. Xbox Game Pass adds Donut County and MechWarrior 5: Clans today, bringing some hole-based puzzling fun and some action-packed mech-based combat. Donut County (Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and PC)Donut County returns to the Game Pass library for Ultimate, Standard, and PC Game Pass subscribers. If you didn’t get around to playing Donut County when it was first in the service, it’s a story-based physics puzzle game where you control a hole in the ground that gets bigger each time you swallow an object. It’s a delightful little game, filled with humor, and is absolutely worth checking out. As for the Donut County achievements, earning the 1,000G will only take you a couple of hours — if you need a helping hand, be sure to check out the excellent Donut County walkthrough. MechWarrior 5: Clans (Game Pass Ultimate and PC)MechWarrior 5: Clans is available to play with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Taking on the role of a new pilot, you will experience the Clan Invasion of the Inner Sphere from the perspective of Clan Smoke Jaguar by leading a squad of five mechs across multiple planets and engaging in strategic combat encounters. We have also just picked up the MechWarrior 5: Clans achievements, which offer up an action-filled 1,000G.Microsoft recently confirmed that five games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in October 2024, including Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery.
