Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition includes both the base game and the excellent Phantom Liberty DLC (check out our Phantom Liberty review for our thoughts on the expansion) and will launch for Xbox Series X|S on December 5.CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the Ultimate Edition will be available in both physical and digital formats. Interestingly, CD Projekt Red’s global community director Marcin Momot has confirmed that the Xbox Series X|S physical version will actually include the Phantom Liberty DLC on the disc (physical fans, rejoice!), whereas a code will be provided for the PS5 and PC versions.Unfortunately, CD Projekt Red has not announced a price for the Ultimate Edition. Although Cyberpunk 2077 rightfully caught a lot of flak at launch, CD Projekt Red has been on quite the redemption arc with the RPG. After numerous updates and quality-of-life fixes, including the massive game-changing Update 2.0 and the release of Phantom Liberty, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally in a good place and has sold a whopping 25 million copies as of October 2023.
