The Xbox team has confirmed its Gamescom 2022 presence, with some details on what to expect at the Xbox Booth, including A Plague Tale: Requiem and Pentiment.Gamescom 2022 will feature Xbox with the Xbox Booth, Xbox FanFest, an Xbox Booth@Gamescom livestream, and “a little more insight into some of our previously announced games coming to Xbox in the next 12 months.”Xbox will be at Gamescom 2022″We’re excited to return to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany this August and hang out in person with the community for the first time since 2019,” says Xbox’s integrated marketing lead Maxi Graeff. “We’re really looking forward to being back on the show floor, bringing our passionate fans together again in person to celebrate what’s ahead at Xbox. At Gamescom 2022, whether attending the show or watching the Xbox Booth@Gamescom Livestream from home, fans in Europe and around the world can expect a little more insight into some of our previously announced games coming to Xbox in the next 12 months.”The Xbox Booth will be found at Hall 8 with 36 stations. Xbox Game Studios games at the booth will include Pentiment (which launches into Xbox Game Pass this autumn), Age of Empires IV , Microsoft Flight Simulator, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded, which launches in full in September. Third-party titles at the booth, meanwhile, will include A Plague Tale: Requiem (which launches into Xbox Game Pass this October), Disney Dreamlight Valley (which Xbox Game Pass members can play in Early Access in September), Gunfire Reborn, Inkulinati (which was just confirmed for Xbox Game Pass), The Last Case of Benedict Fox (for more on that, check out our The Last Case of Benedict Fox interview), Lies of P, Lightyear Frontier (which has an Early Access release window of spring 2023), Planet of Lana, and You Suck at Parking. The Xbox Booth will also let you try the Xbox App on the “latest 2022 Samsung Smart TV,” and a number of photo opportunities ranging from Starfield’s VASCO robot to a 17-foot-wide replica of Grounded’s Broodmother spider… if cuddling close for a photo with a massive spider sounds like your kind of thing. While there look to be a few notable absentees in that lineup, we do at least know that we’ll be seeing more from Redfall at QuakeCon next week, and Microsoft’s presence at the show means there’s a fair chance we’ll also see something at Opening Night Live when it kicks off Gamescom, too.Are you looking forward to seeing what Xbox has to offer at Gamescom 2022?
