Ready to pick up World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight, but finding all of the potential choices daunting? Well, you’ve come to the right place. In our WoW Dragonflight talents list, we list all of the talent specialisations in the new system and give a brief overview of what makes them great.

Dragonflight is the latest and ninth expansion to the MMORPG titan, World Of Warcraft. It brings new lands to explore with the addition of the Dragon Isles, and bumps the level cap up to 70. It also comes with a drastic overhaul of the talent system.

WoW Dragonflight Talents List

Characters in World Of Warcraft are divided into thirteen broad classes. These are divided into a number of different talent trees that specialize further.

Monk

  • Windwalker Monk –  A mobile DPS, the tree has good AOE moves, and Escape From Reality that bumps up the usefulness of Transcendence and keeps you out of trouble.
  • Mistweaver Monk – A fast-moving healer. Renewing Mist offers continual healing, and Revival can fix up large groups in no time.
  • Brewmaster Monk – Lighter than some other tanks, but with some great options. Stagger lets you delay damage you receive, and the various brew skills let you clear it out before it hits you.

Demon Hunter

  • Vengeance Demon Hunter – A mobile tank that can keep standing for a while. The Frailty talent turns Sigil Of Flame into self-healing along with the damage it brings.
  • Havoc Demon Hunter – A solid DPS. Eye beams can hit multiple targets, and Chaotic Transformation will give a big boost while flipping some cooldowns. Vengeful Retreat lets you get out of a jam and hurt some enemies at the same time.

Shaman

  • Enhancement Shaman – A melee DPS that can ruin a single enemy’s day. Elemental damage is king, and skills like Ashen Catalyst and Elemental Spirits can make damage even more deadly.
  • Elemental Shaman – A ranged DPS that does a lot of things well. Fire Elemental lets you bring a friend to the fight, and Deeply Rooted Elements gives more chances to make the most of the Shaman’s Ascendance power.
  • Restoration Shaman – A healer with a lot of utility. Healing Rain and Wellspring can blanket HP restoration over an area, while Earthen Wall Totem can take damage for your allies.

Paladin

  • Protection Paladin – A solid and stoic tank with a throwable shield. Avenger’s Shield lets you deal some damage and silence your enemies. Guardian Of Ancient Kings gives an impressive 50% damage reduction for a short period.
  • Holy Paladin – A healer with a sting in the tail. Holy Shock can heal friends but also harm enemies. Beacon Of Light will let one ally benefit from all your other heals.
  • Retribution Paladin – A melee DPS with heaps of holy damage. Shield Of Vengeance protects from damage, then turns on the enemy. Final Reckoning lets you nuke the area with holy magic, then softens the enemy up for more damage.

Warrior

  • Protection Warrior – A tank damage sponge who can take a hit. Ignore Pain lets you shrug off 55% of damage to a certain point, while Tough As Nails means attacking you hurts the enemy right back.
  • Fury Warrior – A fun and functional DPS that makes the most of Rage. Bloodthirst lets you heal while laying into enemies.  Rampage hits like a truck and only gets more dangerous with talents to upgrade it.
  • Arms Warrior – High-energy DPS that can stay alive in the heat of battle.  Die By The Sword gives a 100% parry chance increase, while Rend is good for making your opponent bleed.

Rogue

  • Outlaw Rogue – A DPS who is naturally hard to pin down. Blade Flurry lets you hit a large number of targets, while Roll The Bones lets you try your luck at a random enhancement.
  • Subtlety Rogue – A sneaky DPS that likes to get the drop on opponents. Shadowstep lets you drop behind enemies, while Gloomblade is an armor-surpassing strike with shadow damage.
  • Assassination Rogue – A DPS that loves poison and bleed. Deadly Poison gives your weapon a chance to hit the enemy with the status effect, Amplifying Poison makes it even nastier.

Mage

  • Frost Mage – A ranged DPS with an icy dispositionBlizzard lets you spread damage over an area. Icy Veins will throw you into a casting frenzy with 30% haste.
  • Arcane Mage – A DPS caster with a versatile tree. Arcane Surge lets you blow all your mana in a devastating attack and get it back quickly.

Warlock

  • Demonology Warlock – A tanky caster that can summon Dreadstalkers for help. Inner Demon adds imps to the chaos, too.
  • Affliction Warlock – A DPS caster with some deadly AoEs. Unstable Affliction deals damage over time, and will hit anyone who tries to dispel it. Siphon life lets you heal at the expense of an opponent.
  • Destruction Warlock – A hard-hitting DPS caster. Soul Fire does huge damage, while Reverse Entropy can speed up the process.

Priest

  • Holy Priest – A dependable healer. Guardian Spirit can keep guard over a key ally and increase the effect healing spells have on them. Divine Hymn will give HP back to everyone in the immediate area.
  • Discipline Priest – A hardy healer that can survive in a fray. Pain Suppression lets you reduce the damage an ally is taking. Schism lets you hit with shadow damage.
  • Shadow Priest – A ranged DPS that can afflict their targets. Devouring Plague gives a chunk of damage and a lingering one over time. Dispersion reduces damage and increases health, but you won’t be able to attack in that time.

Hunter

  • Beast Mastery Hunter – A mobile DPS with a lot of animal friends. Beast Cleave and Aspect Of The Beast make your pets even more dangerous.
  • Survival Hunter – A melee-focused DPS that likes to get close to enemies. Wildfire Bomb gives some fire damage, while Bloodseeker throws some bleed into the mix.
  • Marksmanship Hunter – A ranged DPS that keeps their distance. Careful aim hits enemies at high health hard. Volley can be used to deal AOE to a group.

Evoker

  • Preservation Evoker – A powerful healer with some unique quirks. Dream Breath can heal allies in front of you. Fluttering seedlings can spread healing up to 40 yards away.
  • Devastation Evoker – A DPS caster with a fiery temper. Pyre hits with fire damage, while Eternity Surge hits will Spellsfrost instead.

Druid

  • Restoration Druid – A healer who specializes in regenerating allies over time. Lifebloom grants healing over 15 seconds. Adaptive Swarm can heal, damage, and will move itself around the battle.
  • Guardian Druid – A versatile tank that can take it and dish it out.  Brambles protects you while damaging enemies. Incarnation: Guardian Of Ursoc powers up your bear form.
  • Balance Druid – A DPS that relies on some impressive casting ability. Starfall can stack on the damage, whilst Denizen Of The Dream can bring a Faerie Dragon in to assist.
  • Feral Druid – A strong DPS that gets around the battlefield. Infected Wounds can slow down opponents. Circle Of Life And Death speeds up damage and healing.

Death Knight

  • Blood Death Knight – A relentless, regenerating tank. Blood Boil infects nearby enemies with Blood Plague, and Vampiric Blood gives a nice temporary health boost.
  • Unholy Death Knight – A heavy DPS with some impressive AoE. Raise Dead gives you some undead assistance. Outbreak will weigh opponents down with health-sapping disease.
  • Frost Death Knight – A DPS mixing magic and melee. Remorseless Winter damages and slows, while Pillar Of Frost increases your strength.

What Are WoW Dragonflight Talents?

Talents are additional moves that can be optionally picked as part of character advancement. They allow you to have a little more control over your character’s build. Specialized talent trees become available from Level 10, and let you better define your character’s role in a party.
