World War Z: Aftermath Gameplay Overview Trailer Released

Inspired by the Paramount Pictures film, learn more about the gameplay that awaits players in Saber Interactive’s World War Z: Aftermath with the overview trailer for the game.

Featuring a new rendition of the Swarm Engine, this shooter will allow players to bring along up to three friends (or AI teammates) to take down hordes of zombies. Two new story episodes have been included in this release: the city of Rome and Russia’s snowbound Kamchatka peninsula.

World War Z: Aftermath will feature an optional first-person mode, and players will be able to take on new daily missions that feature special modifiers for bonus rewards.

All content from World War Z: Game of the Year Edition will be included in this release, including full episodes in Moscow, New York, Marseille, Jerusalem and Tokyo. In all, there are 23 total PVE maps across seven different episodes.

World War Z: Aftermath – Gameplay Overview Trailer

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game will also come out for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S next year, complete with the Horde Mode XL option.
