Daedalic Entertainment and Chunkybox Games have announced that Wildcat Gun Machine will be clawing its way onto Xbox later this year, offering a bullet-filled dungeon crawling experience in a 2D art style.We’re not sure where the cat references have come from (aside from the name), but we are sure that everything about Wildcat Gun Machine looks mental! Weird fleshy abominations, demonic-looking bosses, lasers, explosions, colour, and all-out action is featured in that short one-and-a-half-minute trailer… and we love it! Developed by Chunkybox Games and published by Daedalic Entertainment, Wildcat Gun Machine is said to offer players non-randomised dungeons with challenging and deadly puzzles that require creative solutions. Pretty much all of the puzzles will be solved with the use of one of the 40 available guns in the game, and you can even upgrade your skills and abilities. Everything is wrapped up in a 2D art style that pops with colour and reminds us of games like the recently released Hades — which is nothing but a good thing! We’ll be looking forward to seeing just how challenging the achievement list will be for this nightmarish monster-blasting dungeon crawler.
