League of Legends: Wild Rift has just unveiled the patch notes for the upcoming update 5.1c. The team has lined up a series of awesome events, new units, some nerfs and buffs and a bunch of new skins. Follow along to get the full scoop!
What’s In Store In League of Legends: Wild Rift Update 5.1c?
New Champion Maokai, the twisted treant, is branching out into Wild Rift on June 14th. He used to be a chill nature spirit until the Shadow Isles’ curse of undeath hit. Now he’s a massive, rage-fueled tree dude like Groot but less cute (or not cute at all!). He’s on a mission to cleanse his homeland from all that nasty magic.
Draven is a major part of this League of Legends: Wild Rift Update 5.1c. If you’re obsessed with his axe-spinning antics, wait till June 14th. That’s when the new limited-time mode, Urf x League of Draven, kicks off. Every champion will be rocking a giant Draven head. They’ll probably come with some hilarious dialogue, too!
Moving on to the events. Maokai’s Trivia event starts on June 14th. Then, on June 17th, you can dive into Now Showing: Rotating Modes for a mix of PvP, ARAM and special modes like URF and One For All. Wild Pass Sprint kicks off on June 21st, giving you a shot at even more prizes.
There’s a new arena called Ruinous Might opening on June 6th. This circular battleground sure looks enticing. Lots of new skins are dropping on June 7th, including Tranquility Dragon Karma, Storm Dragon Lee Sin, Duality Dragon Volibear, Obsidian Dragon Sett, Steel Dragon Thresh and Zephyr Dragon Master Yi Chroma. Meowkai and Infernal Shen skins follow on June 14th.
Lastly, several champions are getting tweaks. Yone, Viego and Lillia are getting nerfed. While Zed, Wukong, Kennen, Rakan, Diana, Vi, Shyvana, Gragas, Ezreal and Miss Fortune are getting buffed.
