The Pressure Imaginary Friend Explained
The Imaginary Friend entity is brand-new to the game, being added just recently. Many players haven’t encountered this figure yet, but don’t worry, they’re harmless. They don’t hurt you, but they do like to play tricks on you, keeping you in a constant state of paranoia.
Most of the time, Imaginary Friend stays quiet. However, now and again, this entity likes to randomly put you on edge, and can sometimes break the silence with an eery whisper. However, some players report that the Imaginary Friend legitimately warns you about nearby monsters. The main lines that add to the creepy factor are:
- “What’s that noise?”
- “What’s that sound?” – this line is whispered
- “Where’d it go?”
- “Do you hear them?”
- “I think there’s someone else here” – this line is also whispered
- “I hear music”
These lines are enough to make you think something’s lurking around the corner, thanks to the Not-So-Imaginary Friend. Though, I do find the “Come closer” whispering voice line to be one of the most uncomfortable, especially when I’m in concentration mode.
How to Summon The Imaginary Friend
To summon the Imaginary Friend entity, look in every drawer and on top of every table. What you’re searching for is a toy remote with a big red glowing light on the front. Interacting with this item begins a short audio recording that thanks you for using the ‘not-so-imaginary Limited-Time Imaginary Friend’.
After this, look around, and you should spot the floating red figure of the entity. It has no feet but has long arms that almost reach the floor. Its mouth is constantly open, and it appears to have small arms wrapped around its shoulders as if it’s being hugged.
The entire point of the Imaginary Friend was to combat loneliness, but customers were terrified by the appearance of the figure. Because of this, the remotes were pulled off the shelves, and the entire thing was swept under the carpet.
