Arguably the best prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft is at an undesirable position and that’s running back Bijan Robinson.
Robinson, the star back from Texas, is being mocked as high as No. 8 to the Atlanta, but has an over/under of 16 at several sportsbooks as it’s tough to peg a safe landing spot for him. It has become popular to not invest in a running back, but Robinson is too talented to ignore. Who will take a shot on the do-it-all back? Here are the odds:

The Falcons are the favorite to pick Robinson at +300. Atlanta selects No. 8 and the connection appears to be that the team’s head coach Arthur Smith comes from Tennessee, where the team had a ton of success with Derrick Henry as the bell cow back.
After that, it gets crowded, both the Texans (No. 2, No. 12) and Commanders (No. 16) are each at +700, but it’s the Eagles that have a lot of buzz, who pick No. 10 and are +1000. Philadelphia won the NFC behind a running back by committee and have just secured Jalen Hurts as its quarter of the future, will it invest in a one-trick pony at running back?
It’s tough to peg exact spots for Robinson given the questions around running backs in general, even for one as talented as the Texas product. Five other teams have odds of +1000 or greater but below +2000: Chargers, Lions, Bears, Bengals, Patriots, meaning that Robinson may be on edge come draft night.
