Well folks, it’s nearly time for Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard to expand the Xbox Game Pass library, and it all starts with Diablo 4 on March 28.Activision Blizzard houses many fantastic IPs, and while they’ve now technically been part of Microsoft’s first-party Xbox portfolio since October 2023, we’re yet to see anything join Xbox Game Pass. Phil Spencer had already said that due to the lengthy acquisition process, we’d not see any games join the service until this year, so we knew we’d have to wait a while. Now it seems that the time is almost upon us.During a special episode of the Official Xbox Podcast this week, president of Xbox Sarah Bond announced that Blizzard’s action-RPG Diablo 4 will drop into Xbox Game Pass next month. Nothing has been said about any of the other franchises under Activision Blizzard’s banner, like Call of Duty and Warcraft, but it’s only a matter of time before more games trickle into the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass libraries.So, with that in mind, we’d like to know which Activision Blizzard IPs you are looking forward to seeing join Game Pass.
