Welcome to the Locker Room. Here, we can talk about all of FIFA 22’s Ultimate Team mode news once a week. That includes a list of the Team of the Week cards, including our chosen pick, as well as the newest SBCs and the objectives for the week. Team of the WeekThis is the 18th TOTW for FIFA 22’s Ultimate Team, featuring such gems as Leverkusen’s Wirtz, Fulhams, Mitrovic, and Leeds’ Jack Harrison. Bayern’s Thomas Müller leads the big numbers with an 89-rated CAM card. It’s always been a bit of a boring card, without much pace and totally average technical ability, but it comes cheap and he will always score a banger or two. Much more exciting is Mr Bruno, the Man United CM that will, despite similar stats to Müller, feel better on the ball and be able to dink balls around like a basketballer. Lazio’s Immobile also has an 89-rated card with shockingly good numbers given that I’ve always considered him a C-Tier card in FIFA. A little chem style on him would make him near-perfect for a good weekend league pick. The featured player this week is Dortmund RB Meunier who has some wonderful numbers for the price. We really like this card and would recommend it as a mid-tier upgrade on whatever right-back card you started with in your Bundesliga team. Our Pick: St. Juste (Mainz — CB — 81)Okay, maybe we are juste picking him to make a stupid opening pun. Or, maybe it is because the man has 92 pace? Stupid. That is just stupid. The fact that he also has above 80s defensive numbers really helps, because now you can slap on an Anchor or a Sentinel chem style and you are looking at an absolute tank. Plus, the fact he is trading for around 30k right now with the potential to drop off as soon as something shinier comes out, we really think that he could be great trading material in a few weeks. Give this guy a shot!SBCsWe have picked the currently available SBCs and priced them, as per FUTbin’s amazing listings. Téji Savanier, the French Marsielle CAM, leads a weak week of SBC offerings. It looks like he cost around 80k, but it has been fluctuating as the market adjusts for the TOTY cards. Like Bruno above, this is a card made for sly dribbling, exquisite passing, and long shots. Just keep in mind that he has four-star weak foot and skill moves, and this is a solid card. Also, be wary of the fact he has a Headliners card that is only 15-20k more and is dynamic. Keep an eye out for more SBCs over this weekend! Objectives and Misc. The Silver Star is Brobbey. Get eight goals, six assists, and three wins to get him. The real big news is that the TOTY cards are releasing and will be on the market for obscene values. I have to say, I cannot believe Jorginho is in there. That being said, N’Golo Kante? Yes. De Bruyne? Yes. Cancelo… oh yes, please. A good year for sure!Let us know your pick outs! Is anybody taking your fancy? Agree with our Player Pick from the TOTW? Let us know in the comments!
