Honkai: Star Rail’s 2.5 patch is launching a day earlier than patches usually do, which means we get new content a full 24 hours earlier! Yay! This patch finally marks the start of the Luminary Wardance Ceremony on the Xianzhou Luofu, alongside three new characters: Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze.
Below, we explain when Honkai: Star Rail maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 2.5. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Honkai: Star Rail patch 2.5.
What time does Honkai: Star Rail go down for maintenance?
The 2.5 patch is actually launching a day earlier than the usual every-six-weeks schedule, so keep that in mind. Honkai: Star Rail will go down for maintenance on Monday, Sept. 9, or Tuesday Sept. 10 (depending on your time zone), at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
Make sure to burn your fuel before maintenance starts, if you wanted to, but keep in mind that the new versions’ battle pass will start as soon as the game goes up, so you may want to hold it.
What time does Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5 start?
Honkai: Star Rail should come back from maintenance with the 2.5 version at the following times:
The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 2.5 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes! It’s actually pretty common for the game to go live an hour early, so keep that in mind, but don’t get too excited.
What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5?
There are three new characters coming in this patch: Feixiao (Wind Hunt, 5-star), Lingsha (Fire Abundance, 5-star), and Moze (Lightning Hunt, 4-star). This patch will also feature the big Wardance Ceremony on the Xianzhou Luofu and potentially wrap up the story involving the prison from last patch.
The Wardance Ceremony event is the meat of this patch, but there’s also new additions coming to Divergent Universe, which means new Planar Ornaments to farm. Yippee.
