Join in with the Grow a Garden Monster Mash event this Saturday! The dance party signals the end of the Blood Moon event and welcomes in the Cosmetics Update, which allows you to decorate your plot in Grow a Garden.
Grow a Garden Monster Mash
The Monster Mash is an upcoming event in Grow a Garden, which is planned to take place a few minutes before the Cosmetic Update on Saturday, 24th of May. Make sure you’re online around 15 minutes before the update releases so that you get to take part in it!
What is the Monster Mash Event?
So, what’s it all about? The event is an attempt to break a world record for how many players can do the Monster Mash emote at the same time.
All you need to do is log into the game before the Cosmetic Update and wait to see what happens! The only confusing thing is that the Monster Mash dance is an old emote that is no longer available.
As of right now, we have no idea as to how players will be able to perform this emote, but I’m sure there’s a workaround.
What Do You Get From the Event?
Currently, we have no idea what the rewards are for completing the event! Given how previous events have gone, free pets are usually the main reward.
Though with the update mainly focusing on cosmetics for your garden, there might be free furniture for your plot! Don’t forget to pick up the Mysterious Crates from the Blood Moon shop too for some extra decorative goodies.
For example, just before the Blood Moon event, players got the Chicken Zombie pet, which is inspired by the Chicken Jockey from Minecraft. Similarly, the Panda pet was available for an hour after the initial release of the Animal Update.
