What Does Resilience Do In Fisch? Lucky for you, I have the answer in this guide where I tell you what this stat controls, its importance, and how to influence it if you have a rod with unfavourable Resilience.

What Does Resilience Do In Fisch

When spending on a new rod, you should consider the stats, price and ability of the kit. However, the Resilience definition seems to evade most players and isn’t so straightforward, unlike the other Rod Stats.

Resilience on a Rod controls how fast the fish moves when snagged. The higher the Resilience percentage, the slower a fish whips around the bar, making it easier to catch.

Most late-game rods boast huge stats for Luck, Lure, Max Kg or Control, but have the default 0 Resilience making the rarer catches hardly any easier to reel in. Fortunately, with an Enchant Relic to hand, players can visit the Keepers Altar at night time and enhance their Rod in hopes of receiving one of the following:

  • Resilient – +35% Resilience
    • Best for Rods capable of Mythic Fish farming (Not the King’s Rod)
  • Quality – A more rounded enchant with +15% Lure, +15% Luck and +5% Resilience
    • Best for balanced Rods where a specific attribute isn’t necessary, but a luxury

What Are The Other Rod Stats?

With Resilience out the way, you should also know what the partnership stats contribute towards. This will help you choose which rods are worth your precious credits in the future, and reel in those larger and higher-rarity catches.

  • Lure Speed – How fast the Shake minigame concludes. A negative Lure Speed means it takes longer for fish to snag on the line.
  • Luck Boost – How fortunate the player is per catch. Whilst not a guarantee, a higher luck percentage allows for more frequent high-rarity catches
  • Resilience – A recap! This one is how fast the fish icon moves when in the catch minigame. The higher a rod’s resilience, the slower the fish swims.
  • Control – How large the white bar is which you move from left to right during the catch minigame. The lower the control, the smaller the bar.
  • Max KG – The limit to the rod’s weight capacity. Some fish exceed weight limits by a lot so if you’re a completionist, I recommend a rod with a high KG allowance or inf KG (Like the King’s Rod!)
