What Does A Wipe Do In Type Soul Guide
A Wipe is a process which allows a player to reset their race on a save file. So, if you’ve been playing as a Quincy and fancy a racial change to Soul Reaper or Arrancar then you’ll need to perform a Wipe! Of course, this also applies to the other races and changes and isn’t limited to Quincies.
Before you rush into Wiping, note that performing a Wipe WILL also reset your progress. It makes sense since each lineage has such unique movesets, weaponry and playthroughs. If you’re not willing to forfeit your existing save, I’d recommend using the second free save slot that Type Soul offers to play as your newly preferred race. Sadly if you’ve already used both, more save slots will cost Robux.
How To Perform A Wipe
To perform a Wipe, you’ll need to get your hands on a Soul Ticket. Lucky for you we have a more in-depth guide on this item found here. But, for a simple rundown, here is a list of obtainment methods.
- Soul Tickets have a small drop chance from Katakura Town Raids.
- Dropped from the Bawabawa Boss located in Hueco Mundo
- Dropped from the Jidanbo Boss located in Soul Society
- Purchased for 500 Robux
Whilst Robux is the easier option, I’d personally recommend server hopping and grinding the Katakura Town Raid. Despite having a low drop chance, you can easily find ongoing Raids and also earn a bunch of other loot whilst aiming for the Soul Ticket.
