The 37th annual West Michigan Golf Show will be held February 6 – 8 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.

It is worth noting that for the first time, the show will be held Thursday through Saturday. That leaves Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 9) wide open for sports fans.

Show hours are:

Thursday Feb. 6: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 7: Noon to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 8: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission for weekend is $12, and juniors 14 & under are free. Tickets are available during show hours at the DeVos Box Office or online with no added fees at www.WestMichiganGolfShow.com.

The first 400 attendees on Thursday will get free golf balls courtesy of Ferris State’s Golf Management program.

The West Michigan Golf show traditionally offers hundreds of exhibits rangingfrom courses and resorts to sales of equipment, clothing, accessories and unique golf products. More than a dozen exhibitors will be new to the show.

Popular interactive areas returning include the $100 Hole-Out Challenge, the $10,000 Longest Putt Challenge, and a Closest to the Pin event using a golf simulator. Although these offerings have an entry fee, all the money raised goes to designated charities like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Folds of Honor and Patriot’s Day.

In addition, there’s a Family Fun Golf Zone, which has special features aimed at nurturing a lifelong love for the game. The First Tee of West Michigan will staff this busy area.

The show is sponsored by the Golf Association of Michigan, Ferris State University, ForeverLawn West Michigan, LeafFilter, and Tito’s. Benefitting charities are First Tee of W. Michigan, Make a Wish Foundation, Folds of Honor and Patriot’s Day.
