Weird West will receive a free update next week, May 6th, which adds two new travel encounters and scenarios, a new map location, a new Hacienda for Bounty missions, and more.WolfEye Studios has revealed a small portion of the content that’ll be introduced in next week’s free update, so expect to find a new location to visit, a new Hacienda to hunt bounty targets in, and some new encounters to meet while you hunt down those Weird West achievements.Screenshots of Weird West’s upcoming contentA portion of the upcoming content was revealed via a blog post on Weird West’s Steam page, along with various screenshots of the upcoming content. Dubbed Patch 1.02, the free update will be available to all players on Friday, May 6th. It’ll add two new travel encounters to the global pool of potential encounters, called Howling Hatch and Serpent’s Mouth. Additionally, the Wraith and Ridgeback scenarios will be added to the current Abandoned Mine locations to offer further variety to what you find on your travels. New Hacienda and Natural Cave locations are also on the way, which again, is to help remove any possible repetitiveness that could be found when exploring the locations. The Natural Cave will come with three scenario possibilities: Sirens, Wild Animal, and Wraith.According to the blog post, we can expect to find out about even more additions later this week. WolfEye Studios says that there are some key bug fixes coming, and the next reveal will highlight “some of the main feature adds, changes, and tweaks.” “Patch 1.03, which will follow in early June, will continue introducing even more new content, encounters, new secondary location maps, and scenarios,” the posting reads. “[It] will have a huge focus on a global economy overhaul, along with a global player progression model overhaul.”Are you still plugging away at the Weird West achievement list?
