TapTap Presents, known for connecting players and fans around the world, netted 2.5 million views over the course of the event on Saturday, July 23. Highlights from the event include the release of new titles, fresh downloadable updates for 24 games, and an option to pre-register for games on the TapTap App.
Developer and the TapTap mobile gaming community co-founder, XD Inc., had exciting reveals to share at the all-digital event, including Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Steam’s most popular battle sim to date. Also revealed was Spark Creative Editor, the handy tool that helps small development teams and players bring their biggest ideas to life.
Also seen for the first time. was Go Go! Muffin, featuring Midgard’s most perfect pal, Muffin, and Etheria: Restart, the turn-based RPG made in Unreal Engine 4.
TapTap also announced some notable indie games, including Neon Abyss: Infinite, the amazing mobile roguelike featuring unlimited item synergies, and a unique dungeon evolution system; Add to the list Koi Remake, the 3D reimagining of the award-winning exploration game, among others, and we have some exciting days of gaming ahead. All are available for pre-register.
Pre-Reg Is The Way To Play
Players should keep their eyes peeled and think about pre-registering for a few exceptional releases in Q4, including Sword of Convallaria: For This World of Peace, the pixel-style wargame independently developed by XD Inc. and composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto.
Also on the pre-reg-musts list is alien-themed 3D hunting ARPG, Yeager: Hunter Legend. This one has an open BETA available in Q4 2022, and promises some ferocious entertainment as players scour the mysterious planet of Ekors to fight beasts.
More for pre-register is popular multiplayer action game, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Mobile and ANNULUS, the classic turn-based strategy from developer Indrasoft. Players have to fight like never before in ANNULUS to break rules of fate, and secure land and glory. No big deal.
Shifting gears to a more classic cross-platform, ARPG brought updated gameplay to Torchlight: Infinite, including adding a new hero, Thea. Pre-reg now and expect the update in October.
If you’re into team games, T3 Arena might appeal to you, especially if the idea of a 3v3 hero shooter where your friends jump into the Arena anywhere, anytime, sounds like a good time. T3 Arena is bringing a new season called “Lights On” with a new hero and more on August 4. Mark your calendars.
Another exciting reveal comes from AAA mobile developer DeNA with CAPTAIN TSUBASA: ACE. This multiplayer online soccer game allows you to play as your favorite celebrity athlete and experience perfectly recreated scenes. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
For fans of HoYoverse’s famous open world, Genshin Impact, the journey to Sumeru is about to get lit with the introduction of new companions and adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for these updates coming soon.
Stuff that looked especially impressive at the event and deserves mention is open-world action game Wuthering Waves from developer KuroGames.
