Week 9 in review: MWC 2023 dominates the headlines

Welcome to Week 9’s recap! This week’s headlines were dominated by the MWC 2023 – the industry’s largest event took place this week and had its busiest edition in several years.

Honor announced its Magic5 series as well as the global rollout of the Magic Vs foldable. Meanwhile, Xiaomi brought its 13 and 13 Pro flagships to international markets and unveiled the 13 lite.

Tecno confirmed its lofty ambitions and followed the high-profile cameraphone Phantom X2 Pro with the Phantom V Fold. TCL announced a bunch of new devices targeting the lower segments, while Nokia announced the first change of its iconic logo in 60 years.

vivo unveiled its V27 trio, while Samsung debuted the 4G version of its A14. All in all a really eventful week and you should check below for the full list of hot topics to make sure you haven’t missed anything.

The telecom equipment maker is also looking to expand to other businesses.
