As the final week before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona ends, let’s take a look at the biggest stories.
The Oppo Find X5 and X5 Pro became official. Both phones feature Oppo’s new 6nm MariSilicon X image processing chip and Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration. The Find X5 Pro has a 50MP 1/1.56″ main camera with a 3-axis sensor-shift and 2-axis lens stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide, and 13MP 2x tele. The Pro gets a Snadragragon 8 Gen 1 chip, while the X5 uses a Snapdragon 888.
The Oppo Find X5 is on sale from March 14, starting at €1,000 for the 8/256GB model. The X5 Pro’s sole 12GB of RAM and 256GB configuration is €1,300, on sale March 14.
The vivo iQOO 9, 9 Pro, and 9 SE debute in India too, starting at INR 43,000, INR 65,000 and INR 34,000, respectively. They’re all capable smartphones with the SE relying on a SD888, the 9 on a SD888+, and the Pro on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Sales in India start on March 2.
A major leak revealed that the Poco X4 Pro 5G will feature a Snapdragon 695 chip and 108MP camera. The phone will be unveiled on February 28.
