Next week we’ll finally witness the unveiling of the Galaxy S23 series alongside the Galaxy Book3 laptops. But for now, it’s back to regular leaks as we recap the last week’s stories.

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will all be slightly more expensive than their predecessors were (only the Galaxy S23+’ starting Indian price is lower than last year’s S22+ was but that’s unofficial).

We saw an unboxing of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which only reaffirmed what we already knew – the phone comes without a charger or cable. We also got some camera samples, showcasing the Night mode capabilities of the 200MP sensor, and the zoom abilities of the 3x and 10x cameras. A few 4K and 8K videos completed the camera leaks.

Corning confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series will pioneer Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Motorola announced a whopping 5 phones this week. The more interesting of the bunch, the Moto G73 and Moto G53, have 5G, 120Hz displays, 50MP cameras, and 5,000mAh batteries. The Moto G73 will be available for €300 in a single configuration (8/256GB). The Moto G53 will be cheaper at €250, this is with 4/128GB memory, which is the only option currently listed on Motorola’s official site.

The Moto G23 and Moto G13 share the same 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as the same 50MP main camera on the back. Both also have 5,000mAh batteries. Moto G23 comes in Matte Charcoal, Pearl White and Steel Blue colors and is priced at €230 in Europe. Moto G13 is available in Matte Charcoal, Blue Lavender and Rose Gold colors with a retail of €180.

The Moto E13 has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD of 60Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, and runs Android 13 (Go edition). It costs €120.

OnePlus will show off the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, as well as the OnePlus Pad, the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, the OnePlus Keyboard, and the OnePlus Q2 Pro 65-inch TV on February 7.

See you next week!

The phones will be more expensive than their predecessors.

The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra start higher than last year, the S23+ is a bit cheaper.

The samples show off the night mode abilities of the 200MP sensor.

The new Ultra will feature the 200MP HP2 sensor, of course, but it will use the exact same sensors in its two tele cameras as last year’s model.

As usual, Samsung will accept pre-orders for two weeks after it unveils the new flagships, then it will kick off open sales.

Samsung has begun promoting its first Galaxy Unpacked of 2023.

The same user that shared still photos from the new flagship a few days ago has moved on to testing its video capabilities.

The G72 and G52 were both 4G-only phones. The new models use Helio and Snapdragon chips for next-gen connectivity.

The latest budget-oriented devices from Motorola are official.

The phone will lack 5G but will bring LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The X5 Pro seems like the X4 Pro with a new, more powerful chipset. It keeps the 108MP main camera, which is now able to record 4K video.

The minimal charge is listed as 4,905 mAh, which means the typical one is at least 5,000 mAh.

Android 14 will block the installation of really old apps.

The S23 generation is coming with special “Snapdragon for Galaxy” chipsets and Samsung will allegedly keep using such chips until its in-house chip is ready.

The upcoming budget Galaxy M-series phone is expected to launch with the Exynos 1380 chipset.

They should make their way to the US soon too.

Victus 2 was announced at the end of November and features increased drop resistance, especially for rough surfaces like concrete.

The Pad has a big circular camera island halfway up its back.

A red button, likely a toggle for different modes, is visible in the image.

The phone will arrive in the Philippines.

The new HomePod was unveiled last week, and now you can use it.

Is this a rebadged Realme 10?

The online store app is pushing notifications to some users.

The Pro sounds pretty promising too.

This chip is aimed at Windows PCs and has the connectivity to match with PCIe 4.0 for storage and USB 4 for external connectivity.

This is the OS that the upcoming iPhone 15 models will run when they arrive on the market this fall.

The test device comes equipped with 8GB RAM and boots Android 12.
