Week 17 in review: GTA 6, Xperia 1 V, Poco F5 and F5 Pro unveil dates set

As week 17 draws to a close lets recap it. Shockingly enough our most-read story was GTA 6’s reported announcement date of May 17. If the reports pan out we should get some teasers soon.

The Poco F5 and F5 Pro are officially coming on May 9. The F5 will have a Snapdrapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 6.67-inch display, while the F5 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Sony set the Xperia 1 V announcement for May 11. Based on rumors, the phone will launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and it could be the thinnest phone to boast this SoC. We’re also expecting a triple camera setup with rumored 12MP main, 12MP periscope and 48MP ultrawide sensors.

Renders surfaced of the iPhone 15 Pro, seemingly confirming the rumored Action Button.

Marketing materials of the Pixel 7a confirmed the 90Hz refresh rate display, the Tensor G2 chip, a new 64MP camera, as well as wireless charging for the phone, which is set to arrive on May 10. It will cost $499.

The first teasers are coming next month.

The phone could be the global version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo.

Company executive claims this 11-series smartphone will be on par with GT Neo5 phones.

The phone is really coming with a circular camera island.

The device will feature a 48MP main cam.

They start at INR59,999 and INR84,999.

All three phones feature FHD+ resolution displays and boot Android 13.
