Warhammer The Old World Leaks

Here are some of the Warhammer The Old World Leaks ahead of its release in early 2024.

With Warhammer The Old World almost out, we’re entering leak season. We’ll update this post as and when leaks are found, but bear in mind that a lot of this stuff should be taken with a pinch of salt. Obviously, everything here is technically a spoiler for any official reveals, and subject to change or, simply just wrong.

So, this is our first big leak as we near the release, well, outside of pure whispers on dark forums. Now, we can actually get a lot from this little box image. Firstly, it’s really nice, and, looks like we’ll be going back to a “old school” style of box art. It would also make Warhammer the Old World have its own unique style of box, which is nice.

The leak looks real, I mean, we have a dirty wet floor sign, and it looks like a factory assembly line, so why not?

WHAT’S IN THE BOX

So, someone else on Reddit with way better eyesight, or zoom, than us thinks they’ve worked out the content of the box:

  • 40 Skeletons

  • 32 Archers

  • 3 Chariots

  • 16 Horsemen

  • 1 Dragon

This is a pretty decent box, coming in at well over 60 miniatures in total and giving people a really meaty amount of models to use. It also looks like this is a pure Tomb King Starter Box, which probably hints that we’ll see starter boxes for each of the armies that drop at launch.

It also looks like we’re going to get a thicc old rule book/Tomb King Tomb. We also get some slappy sticks and other basic stuff to actually play the game. Again, this would hint that we won’t get any sort of 40k Starter Box, and rather individual army boxes. Which, in fairness, has been basically confirmed by Games Workshop.

That’s it for now, we’ll update this post as we hear more and confirm anything that gets confirmed if it does.
