Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 Tier List
In Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2, there are six classes available, each with its own characteristics and peculiarities. While some of them are great for novice players, others are definitely not a good choice if this is your first run or, even worse, if you are not used to this type of game.
Heavy Class
The Heavy is a fan favorite, wielding massive weapons like the Multi-Melta, which deals immense damage, especially at close to mid-range. You don’t have a melee weapon, but you can swing your heavy weapon if enemies get too close. Your ultimate is Iron Halo, creating a barrier that blocks all ranged damage—perfect for covering your main weakness.
Ammo management is a significant challenge; you’ll need to be diligent about finding ammo crates to keep your heavy weapon firing. Vanguard Class
The Vanguard is a more mobile, slightly less armored version of the Tactical class. Tactical Class
The Tactical class is the most versatile option in the game. You have access to a wide array of primary weapons—more than any other class—which means you’re well-equipped for any situation you dive into. You start with three bars of armor, the highest available, and your ultimate ability is Aspect Scan. This ability reveals enemies in the area and makes them more vulnerable, which is incredibly useful against foes that often go invisible or those with hefty health bars.
Your perks are fantastic too. For instance, Mark for Death allows a headshot to instantly kill certain tough enemies marked by Aspect Scan, with a 12-second cooldown. You also have abilities that add significant AOE damage to finishers, which you’ll be using a lot. Bulwark Class
