One of the key aspects of the grimdark far future depicted in the Warhammer 40,000 universe is the fact that the Imperium of Man just doesn’t care about humans. Humanity as a thing is important, individual people are not – they are at most grist for the endless misery mill which props up the Imperium. Thankfully, Owlcat Games doesn’t share that outlook and is asking for fan feedback following the release of its latest DLC for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader.
Void Shadows added roughly 15 hours of new content to Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, all focused around delving deep into your character’s colossal spaceship to uncover a deadly Genestealer Cult plot fomenting in its lower bowels. This DLC for the RPG has gone down well with fans, with 92% rating it positively on Steam, but the developer still wants to know a few more bits and pieces to better shape how it approaches future expansions.
The survey tackles several different areas, both logistical and thematic. It asks how players bought the DLC, how well they rate it, and how they feel about it only being accessible later on in the game. There’s also some more granular feedback the team is looking for, with every aspect of Void Shadows picked out and fans able to rate pretty much everything.
You can opine on the new Death Cult companion, space battles, animations, the general expansion of the universe shown in the game, and plenty more. The survey also asks players to speak up about what features a DLC should have in order for it to be enjoyable, which may very well shape what form the next Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader expansion will take.
If you’ve played Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader Void Shadows, you can fill in the survey now and rest easy knowing you’ve had your say about the game. If, and when, the next DLC appears, maybe your feedback will make up an integral component.
