Radiant Remnant is a currency you’ll earn while leveling in Hallowfall, and while the description gives you a hint, the use isn’t immediately obvious.
A new expansion brings a new set of currencies for us to understand and spend. While a few, like Resonance Crystals, are here to replace an old resource in Dragonflight, currencies like Radiant Remnant are also new. These little yellow crystals are key for completing Hallowfall World Quest, specifically any involving the Keyflames.
In this guide, we’ll go over how to farm them, and how you can use these crystals to get gear and transmog.
Radiant Remnant – What are They
Radiant Remnants are a new currency that you can collect, though they do build up in your bag and not the currency tab. You’ll earn these as you quest through Hallowfall, and if you ignore quests around the Keyflame farms areas (specifically the quest chain involving Aliya Hillhelm) you probably won’t see the point of them. However, once you get 80 and start doing WQs in the area, you’ll soon see the point.
How to Farm Radiant Remnant
The best way to farm is simply to kill mobs, open “treasures” and complete quests in the area to the West of Light’s Blooming. You’ll earn more than enough while just taking part in the events, so there’s no real need to go out of your way to farm them. If you are doing all the Keyflames yourself (more on that later) then sure, you’ll need more.
You can also use the Radiant Remnant on items to help you complete quests, but these are highly optional.
What to use Radiant Remnant on
The main use for these is to power the Keyflame shown above. These fires come in both small and large and are used to fend off evil. The smaller Keyflames will also trigger a daily quest, but they only require 3 Remnants to activate unlike the 20 required for the larger flame.
Activating these flames is key to completing World Quests and zone quests, these are also used to activate daily quests in the area. Most of these are fairly easy and will be completed in the area where you activated the flame.
A brief TLDR on Radiant Remnant:

Lighting Lesser Keyflames will give you access to repeatable quests that reward the currencies; Resonance Crystals, Valorstones, and “world quest” level gear.

Lighting Major Keyflames are activated for 20 minutes once lit. These grant bonus objectives which can be completed around the Keyflame that you activated. Once a Keyflame is depleted it will spawn a Rare Spawn mob, which you will require 2 of for one of the quests in the area.
