iQOO Z9 Turbo arrived back in April with a 6,000 mAh battery and OriginOS 4, based on Android 14. Now, the vivo brand is planning to launch a refreshed variant with an even bigger battery, and the phone will have updated software.
It is called iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance, but we expect the phone to replace the current Z9 Turbo on the market shelves. The launch will take place on January 3, 2025.
The new phone will also be available in a deep Blue color. It will maintain its size and weight of 196 grams despite increasing its battery capacity to 6,400 mAh. This is possible because iQOO will use the more energy-dense Si/C as seen in the iQOO Z9 Turbo+.
The user interface of the Z9 Turbo Endurance will be OriginOS 5, and there will also be support for dual-frequency GPS. The new feature will allow the phone to connect both to L1 and L5 satellites for more accurate positioning.

The rest of the specs will remain the same: a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 6.78” AMOLED with a 144 Hz refresh rate and unimpressive 50 MP + 8 MP dual cameras on the back. We also expect the price to remain the same—back in April, the phone was CNY 1,999 ($275) for 12/256 GB.
