vivo trademarked several product names last year, one of which was the “vivo Pad” tablet that was expected to arrive in January. However, that didn’t happen, and months later, there’s still no word from vivo about its first tablet.
But it looks the company will soon enter the tablet category since a vivo device, believed to be a tablet, bagged TUV certification earlier this month, and now the vivo Pad name has been trademarked with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The vivo Pad is trademarked under Class 9, which covers several product categories, including tablet computers and PDAs.

The listing on the European agency’s website doesn’t divulge any specs of the vivo Pad, but the vivo device that was recently spotted on TUV’s website and believed to be the vivo Pad packed an 8,040 mAh battery.
We’ll hopefully learn more about the vivo Pad in the coming weeks, but vivo won’t be the first brand under BBK’s umbrella to launch a tablet. That will be Realme since the company has started teasing its tablet, called Realme Pad, and it will also bring its first laptop to the market soon, called Realme Book.
Oppo is also rumored to launch tablets and notebooks this year, but we don’t have any timeframe for the same.
