VCT team bundles for all Ascension organisations are seemingly heading to VALORANT’s in-game store in April.

The news was revealed by Jake Sin, Riot Games’ Head of VALORANT Esports for the APAC region, via a post on X (formerly Twitter) earlier today.

Sin, who has led VALORANT’s esports operations in APAC since 2020, shared: “Good news. Ascension team bundles will be available in-store early next month. We’ll be sharing additional details and previews soon!”

Part of VALORANT’s line of in-game esports cosmetics, VCT team capsules are designed in collaboration with Riot Games’ partnered teams. Each capsule contains a unique Classic gun skin, banner, spray and gun buddy representing a specific VCT team.

Fans can purchase the bundles in the game’s store, with 50% of the generated profits going to the organisations. The bundles for last year’s VCT season amounted to a total of $33m (~£26.1m).

For the 2025 competitive season, VALORANT introduced a new set of capsules for its partnered teams. However, rosters which earned a one-year spot in the VCT through the circuit’s regional Ascension tournaments were not part of the launch.

Which Teams Will Get VCT Bundles?

As a result, it is expected that a total of five capsules will be added to the store in early April:

  • Apeks (Ascension EMEA)
  • 2GAME Esports (Ascension Americas)
  • Nongshim RedForce (Ascension Pacific)
  • BOOM Esports (Ascension Pacific)
  • XLG Esports (Ascension China)

While Riot has not made an official announcement yet, more information and potential bundle design reveals will likely be coming in the near future.

VCT’s five Ascension teams are competing in the main VCT league of their respective region. With the VCT Kickoff phase concluded, regional Stage 1 tournaments are commencing. The event provides teams with a chance to qualify for Masters Toronto in May.
