Vampire Survivors just dropped a free DLC today, the Emerald Diorama. This DLC is actually based on Square Enix’s fantasy RPG series SaGa. So, it’s kind of a crossover between the two. It also marks the game’s biggest update till now.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The DLC includes a new stage that plays like a mini world map with world-hopping vibes. You’ll find over a dozen new characters too. Some are puppeteers while some belt out cursed songs.
There are 16+ new weapons and a new Glimmer system where you can randomly pick up new skills mid-run. And there are nine new music tracks in the game now.
To actually unlock the Emerald Diorama in Vampire Survivors, head to Moongolow and talk to a new merchant. Buy the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, then unlock the content piece by piece from there.
The DLC also includes character parties. So, you can roll with your own mini squad. On that note, catch a glimpse of Vampire Survivors: Emerald Diorama below.
Lastly, there are two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. To End an Ice Age is for the base game, and Tides of the Foscari adds more content to the new DLC.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
The base game got another free update called The Coop. Just like the name suggests, it’s about chickens. There’s a new chicken character named Gazebo, a new weapon and a relic that lets you speed the game up.
You can also pick up a bunch of achievements and unlock Darkana. If you collect 500 lifetime floor chickens, you’ll unlock The Coop update’s full potential.
Here’s a tip! When you play The Coop, don’t kill anything for the first minute. That unlocks the Gaze of Gaea and evolving it with Parm Aegis further unlocks Gazebo.
Grab Vampire Survivors from the Google Play Store and get the free DLC Emerald Diorama and free update The Coop. It now lets you cross-platform save your progress across PC, Xbox, Android and iOS.
