Players wanting to get the most out of their Dead Island 2 achievement-hunting experience will soon be able to purchase the Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition, which packs in several DLC packs and the Xbox zombie game’s Season Pass when it launches on October 22.Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition releases alongside free update in OctoberDead Island 2: Ultimate Edition offers players heading to Hell-A the most jam-packed version of the game. Alongside the Dead Island 2, the Ultimate Edition also includes the following DLC packs: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Pack, Memories of Banoi Pack, Golden Weapons, Pulp Weapons, Red’s Demise, and Premium Character Packs for each Slayer. You’ll also get the Season Pass, which unlocks the two previously released expansions, Haus and Sola.We don’t have a price for the Ultimate Edition yet, but it arrives alongside the already-announced free content update next month. Patch 6 includes a New Game+ mode, offering a higher difficulty level and the ability to carry over your Slayer and weapons to take on the challenge, unlocking some tasty new skills along the way. There’ll also be a brand-new horde-style mode called Neighborhood Watch, which pits up to three players against waves of undead enemies.While it’s unlikely that the Ultimate Edition will get its own stack of achievements, we’re hoping to see some new Dead Island 2 achievements arrive with the free update.If you’re yet to try your hand at the zombie-slaying fun of Dead Island 2, it’s currently available via Xbox Game Pass, including the brand-new Xbox Game Pass Standard tier.
